The Arizona Department of Education released new letter grades for all Arizona Schools for 2022. Morenci Unified School District has received top marks. Metcalf Elementary and Morenci High School received an “A” rating. Fairbanks Middle School received a “B” rating. As a result of COVID, schools have not received a grade letter since 2019.
These letter grades positively reflect on Morenci Unified School District and our students, staff, governing board, families, and community. Instructional excellence and a solid partnership with all stakeholders are crucial to school achievements.
