Letter to FMS families from Fairbanks Principal, Mr. Kelly Hadden
Earlier this morning we became aware of an issue with cellphone users not being able to call our lines ending with the last four digits beginning with 72. This impacts the Metcalf Elementary School line (928-865-7290), Morenci Early Learning Center (928-865-7274), and the Cafeteria line (928-865-7219). Verizon and VTC have been looking into the issue. If you need to reach Metcalf Elementary School, Morenci Early Learning Center, or the Cafeteria please call our District office at (928) 865-2081. They will transfer you. We will put out an update as soon as we have more information. Thank you!

Dear Wildcat Families, Unfortunately, we are still working through the water damage at Morenci High School. Several dehumidifiers and fans have been brought to speed up the drying process. Morenci High School will not start until Wednesday, August 3. Fairbanks Middle and Metcalf Elementary schools will begin on Thursday, July 28. Good afternoon Wildcat Families,
As you know Morenci got hit hard by a rain storm on Sunday afternoon. Our buildings had extensive flooding and we are working hard to extract water from the carpets. The school year will start on Thursday, July 28th at the regular scheduled time. As opposed to Wednesday July 27th. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We look forward to creating light up moments with your child this year and working with you as partners to help your child grow. Thank you for all your support and have a wonderful afternoon.

We are experiencing a network outage throughout our schools and Wildkitten Den. The equipment needed to fix the issue will be installed tomorrow morning, Tuesday July 12th, 2022. Good morning! We wanted to let all of our parents know that the Wildkitten Den and the Wildcat Club will be opening late on Tuesday, July 26th. We will be opening at 11:00 am and closing at our regular time, 6:00 pm. Thank you!
We've been seeing a lot of requests on Facebook for our school supply lists. With our new MUSD App you can pull them up while you shop! Download our app by scanning the QR code in this picture or by searching for Morenci School District in the app store. Open the app, Go to Menu, Documents, and select the School Supply Lists folder.
Supply lists for Metcalf and Fairbanks are available. Morenci High School does not have a posted supply list.
