Work Together Wednesday for WOYC. Working with others helps promote problem solving skills and increases confidence, empathy and teamwork.
We planted flowers and did yoga together. Thank you Morenci Community Center for our yoga lesson today.

Celbarated Tasty Tuesday for WOYC. We had tasty donuts with friends and family at drop off in comfy pajamas.
Cooking connects math with literacy skills, science and more. Food plays an essentail role in family life and our cultures.





Celebrating Week of the Young Child Rock n Roll style for Music Monday. Thank you Morenci Pride Band for coming over and playing for us, teaching us about your instruments, and having some fun with us.
When children sing, dance, and listen to music, they develop their language and early literacy and motor skills.





Week of The Young Child has officially started and our littlest Wildcats are enjoying being Rockstars!







Fairbanks Families: Here is a look at this week at FMS. There have been a couple of changes made to the dates of events. A calendar for the entire month of April will be sent home with students tomorrow.


Fairbanks Families: On Monday, April 3, FMS will be having an assembly to kick off the start of the state testing season. To preserve instructional time, we will be running a modified bell schedule. Athletic Development and Carpentry students will still report to MHS as usual. PLEASE note for that day only, we will be swapping the two lunch periods. Our 7th and 8th graders will go to lunch first at 10:55 am and our 5th and 6th graders will go to lunch at 11:20 am.


Morenci Early Learning Center enrollment will be open for any child ages 3-4 years old prior to September 1, 2023. Come by our office to get a registration packet on April 3rd.


We are excited to welcome our newest Metcalf Wildcats! Students who attend Morenci Early Learning Center or Wildkitten Den will receive a packet of information on April 3rd. New students may pick up a packet at Metcalf Elementary beginning April 3rd.
