MUSD OSHA-10 Certification Course

Congratulations to our 2024 – 2025 Wildcat/Ladycat Welders and Carpentry Cats for completing their OSHA-10 Certification Course held at Morenci High School on Tuesday, September 24th.

It was a long day, but 43 students completed the course as Level 1 Welders and Carpenters, along with 20 Industrial Electrician students. They will receive their certification card and the lifetime training that comes with it. Along with their high school diplomas, this will help fill their resumes as they advance into the workforce.

Along with the knowledge gained, students were treated to water, milk, fruit juice, and donuts for breakfast, pizza for lunch, and cookies for a snack.

I would like to thank Clay Emery, GIFT Superintendent, the GIFT governing board, our CTE Administration, School Administration, OSHA-10 Instructor, and our custodian workers for all their hard work to make this training possible. A big "Thank You" goes out to parents for all the support given as we continue to build our CTE program into a strong educational and successful program at MHS! Keep on, keeping on!

Sincerely,

Instructor Mr. Tony Aguinaga
