It began as a dream in 2016 to have a soccer team at Morenci High School. Dreams became reality in 2018 when our hard work was finally rewarded. The original co-ed team of 10 athletes fought each battle against our only opponent…the adult FMI team.

Four years later the soccer team became an official AIA sport. We have transitioned from playing against adults, to competing for a state title. Our team has tripled in size, and we have become a family both on and off the pitch.

At the end of every season, we go back to our roots and host an annual community soccer game. Parents, teachers and graduated soccer athletes are invited to challenge the team in an entertaining match.    

The competition is fierce, but the friendship is forever.
