Conflict is a natural part of development, it may be defined as a struggle or contest between people with opposing needs, ideas, beliefs, values or goals.
Bullying is aggressive behavior that is intentional, repeated over time, and involves an imbalance of power or strength.
Together, we can be the change in a persons life.
What to know about the new Anti-Bullying Initiative...
- Schools will take action on any “bullying” activity that takes place on school grounds/property, buses, bus stops, school sponsored events/activities, and through school provided technology.
- An employee who becomes aware of or suspects a student is being bullied shall immediately notify a school administrator. Verbal reports must be communicated to the administrator within 1 school day. Administrators must act on this report immediately.
- If action is deemed “bullying”, documentation of the incident must be stored for a minimum of 6 years.
- Confidential bullying forms are available for pick up from faculty or at the front office.
